Sheet Metal Drafter

Job Description

RESPONSIBILITIES:
– Program Development: Develop, write, validate and optimize CNC Programs using CAD/CAM Software (Mastercam), or NC programs using CAD/CAM – Software – AMADA/Bysoft.
– Machining Operation: Set up and operate CNC Machine to produce precision parts according to drawing and specifications, or
– Quality Control: Collaborate with quality team to ensure that all produced parts meet the required standards and specification.
– Problem Solving: Lead to resolve any technical issues arise regarding to machining processes for production including CAPA.
– Sheet Metal Operation: Set up and operate laser cutting, punching and bending machines to produce parts according to drawing and – specifications.

– Ability to provide leadership & supervisory.

– Excellent employee relations skills and organizational development.
– Must have excellent reading comprehension, mathematical, writing, and verbal skills.
– Strong knowledge with work exposure on CADCAM – CADCAM Programming (Mastercam), 3 & 5 Axis Vertical Milling Processes.
– Strong convincing and persuasion skills (working with senior and experienced CNC Operators).
– Knowledgeable about metal fabrication especially machining.

For Sheet Metal:
– Strong knowledge on sheet metal programming language.
– Strong knowledge in laser cutting, punching, and bending machines – tolerance and develop drawings.
